Team Dallas was the nickname for the reserve players that practiced in Dallas,
TX. This "team" was made up of players who were not drafted onto a specific team. When a league team
needed a player because of an injury, they would take one of the Team Dallas players. Since Team Dallas used the same plays
as the rest of the league, the transition from the practice squad to another WLAF team was seamless and the player was ready
to go immediately.
