In February of 1991, more than 700 football players were invited to the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL to tryout for this new league.  For two weeks, each player got a chance to show what they had to the new coaches of the league.  Statistics of each player were collected such as speed, jumping ability, physical health, strength and overall size.  During this time, each player was interviewed and had his photograph taken.

The uniform was pretty simple. Players were given a t-shirt only.  Everthing else was brought by the player like shorts and shoes.  The t-shirt was white and made by Russell Athletic.  On the right sleeve was the WLAF logo and on the left was the Russell Athletic logo.  The front of the shirt had large numbers in black (shirts might have been numbered 1 though something by position and handed out when players arrived).  Above the numbers was the position that the player was trying out for.  The back of the t-shirt was the same as the front.

This is a basically what this shirt looked like.
